Hi Guys,
I am still in a post-surgical, medication-induced fog…(on pain meds) and can’t make it to class tonight. I’m so sorry to miss our last meeting…and all that good food! Here is what I have learened this semester in English 5870: “I look to like if looking liking moves.” When it comes to my ethnographic observations, although I will not be able to park my own biases at the door, I will always acknowledge that these biases exist and will take great care to respect other’s ideas, lifestyles, cultures, and all else which makes them unique.
Have a great summer. I’ll be jet-setting to Vegas all summer (cheap tickets or compliments of Mandaley Bary Casino).
