For my scouting report, I looked at one of the past Xbox Live interviews on file from March–a girl (a college student in Illinois) uses Live to tutor students from the local high school in math. While English is definitely not math, I thought this idea would lend itself well to the growing role of technology in education, and explored the possibilities of using Xbox as a teaching tool. The exploration was very rewarding, because I thought of a few possible uses students could get out of online party chats and video chats for educational purposes.

How would you use Xbox Live to teach writing. I’m not familiar with this NDM (new digital media).
