The economic divide correlates to the haves and have nots. In the immigrant point an n education system is being set up that has a very narrow educational focus. Reading and writing are going to the waist side. Bill Gates and others are dealing with the private sector because there are no hoops to jump through like the public schools. They are developing a pipeline that is conducive to the needs of their companies. These narrow curriculums are producing people who are efficient in what they do. The future should be filled with employees who are ready to survive in the world. On the one hand opportunities are being taken from public school kids this is an ongoing problem in the educational system. There are no guarantees for the people coming from charter schools; however they do have skills that give them a sporting chance. Policy makers need to change their approach concerning the way that education flows. Corporations still need people who can do these types of jobs. In the past, the corporations went to other countries for labor. Seiter said that the schools didn’t do the job that they said they were going to do. People have been complaining about the validity of the public school system for years. The charter schools are not held accountable so they can get away with certain types of transgressions such as having un-credentialed faculty. The knowledge gap is growing, so I support the idea of narrowing a curriculum.
